A rare day in October
This week I learned about a nature preserve I had never heard of before, and, wonder of wonders, it is only 15 minutes from my home. Today was a crisp, blue-sky October day, perfect for a hike in the Hach-Otis State Nature Preserve. I couldn't resist taking pictures, there was so much beauty all around me, and I came home with a load of new pictures on my memory card that I eventually narrowed down to 12 keepers. If you have never been to northeast Ohio and you want to see what our fall landscapes look like, I posted them in my SmugMug gallery. Many people think Ohio is all flat farmland, but that is not true. Just look and see.
