Sunny Day

After the lack of pictures (and inspiration) yesterday, today was the complete opposite. Blip opportunities abounded; mainly because we had a bright sunny day, but more importantly, it was CLEAR!

So, armed with my camera, right at the start, I got a good shot of the new Dubai Frame from the landing. Then stopped at the public beach to see what was happening. (That's where I got my blip). Then I called in at the Serviced offices where we have a registered office space, and with it being on the 38th floor, the views from there are spectacular.

Further on with the day, we called in at Mercato for lunch, Wafi to get something specific from Hallmark and ended up watching the new Sound and Light show, and last but not least, whilst driving home, trying to avoid a long traffic queue into Karama, I ended up in an area that gives beautiful unhindered views of the laser show on Burj Khalifa! On the camera screen, my pictures look great, but it's a different story on the computer, so as I was watching a weather report on the Beast From the East cold spell coming in from Siberia and causing snow as far South as Rome (a friend of mine starts a three week holiday in Italy today), I thought it would be appropriate to show what was happening in my neck of the woods.

Wall to wall sunshine and a perfect day really! There were definitely more people on the Beach than I'd seen in a long time. Even at 9am. :)
