The Beast from the East

Those of you who don't live in the UK may well find it hard to understand why our newspapers are describing the bad weather we are currently expecting as "The Beast from the East".  Sensationalism?  Preparation?  Necessary warnings?  Who knows?  They have already cancelled some trains...
 
Anyway.  This is my view of the Beast from the East as s/he loomed over our back garden this evening...
