No Swimming

I'm standing on the island of Härnön, looking across the sea to the mainland. Even when the weather is warmer not many would swim here, but there is a walkway above the water where in summertime people sit in the afternoon sun, and boats sometimes tie up. It would be easy to fall in and not so easy to get out, hence the lifesaving equipment. That equipment can be even more useful in winter if someone goes through the ice. A pole to reach out to the victim without getting dangerously close yourself. The ladder can be used in the same way, as well as spreading your weight over the ice if you need to go there.
I've never seen anyone on the ice here, but a lot of people pass by and one day this equipment will be used...
