King of the Post

This beautiful double breasted Cormorant was the king of his post for most of the morning while my granddaughter and I were enjoying the beach. Every time another bird came along and tried to join him he very quickly made sure they knew that this was his post! Since my granddaughter had off from school today we decided to play at the beach. It was a perfect day!
