another hummer

in the sun. Somehow the dates got mixed up - I actually took this yesterday when there was still sun. At the moment I am sitting in a hotel room in cold and lonely Lone Pine. A big cold weather front makes the landscape very wintery ,  snow and ice is predicted. I hope that we will be able to get home tomorrow without too slippery streets.
Took lots of pictures during our day, on the road, in the film museum here etc. Will put some in the extras. (Mojave desert with powerlines and Joshua tree, lava layers in the landscape that date from prehistoric volcano eruptions)
