Cricket cap

Watching our grandson Hadley wearing his Canterbury cricket cap on Sunday reminded me of my own days playing school boy cricket for Canterbury. My representative cap still hangs on the top corner of the display cabinet in my study. It is in remarkably good conditition when considering the fact that I first wore it in 1968 aged 14. CBA stood for Canterbury Boys Association. The proud provincial colours of red and black remain to this day.
