When Fergus met Oor Wullie (and Jeemy)

Apothecary7's car had its first service at the dealer's we have used for our last few cars.

While the car was having the work done we walked into Dundee and had breakfast in Caffe Nero. Then we had a wander round to the Howff, and went along to see Oor Wullie's statue beside the McManus gallery. It was quite good fun to go back to a few places we had often visited when we were living in Carnoustie.

We went back for the car about 11.30am, and as usual the dealer had it ready and waiting. All serviced, washed, and vacuumed inside.

On the way back we stopped at St Fillans to let Fergus stretch his legs then we went as far as Tyndrum. We stopped at the Real Food cafe thinking of sandwiches, but noticed it was dog friendly so we all went in for lunch. All the years we have been passing through Tyndrum we hadn't noticed this place was dog friendly. We used to stop at the Green Welly Stop then more recently started using the Artisan cafe.

Onwards towards home with a stop at Lochgilphead for a short walk. We think Fergus more frequent stops than we had to do when travelling with Maeve, so we will remember that. As long as he gets 5 or 10 mins to walk about he seems to be fine in the car for long trips.
