The Backwaters Houseboat

Today we went off on another adventure  - we had a night on a houseboat - see main photo of the various styles and shapes of these boats.... sadly this is a very popular experience and one I'd not have missed - but there are a lot of boats on the waters these days! The boat was lovely with two bedrooms each with twin beds and their own facilities too so a home from home! We enjoyed an afternoon sailing along various canals in the backwaters and then moored up for the night. The mini photos show some of the wonderful colours of life along the riverside - people just wandering, dishes being washed, laundry being done etc. Great fun observing life as it happens.
