I was surprised to see snow when I opened the curtains this morning as we were outside the yellow warning zone. 

While the washer was doing it's third load of the day I set off for a quick Rydal/Under Loughrigg circuit. Three miles, all on tarmac but it did give me this view. 

A haircut late afternoon. Not too much off given the sub zero temperatures that are forecast.
