Sad

I often wander along the river at lunchtime and today the tide was out when I noticed what I think was a dead female Mallard duck trapped in amongst this pile of logs and debris.  I think this is the first time I have seen this, I don't whether the bird somehow became trapped or whether there is another cause, but it was sad anyway.
