Into the forest.

We've had some snow fall over the past couple of days which made it possible for me to head into the forest with a bit more confidence.....enough snow to cover most of the ice.   but i could still feel it a bit so didn't venture down some of the little hills on the trail.   but it just felt so good to be out in the forest again, it's been a long time coming!

Finally...we have all the accommodations booked for our Costa Rica trip, oh boy....i tell you this has been a huge task.   but we have found the most beautiful places to spend out 2 weeks. 

Only 3 more sleeps till i head out to Victoria for 10 days with my girls....can't wait!   at that point of making sure all those silly devises we depend on are charged etc., i'm trying to remember what it was like to prepare for a trip without of these things...music, cameras, phones, tablets, kindle....yikes!!!   but i think i'm on top of it all!!!
