Walking in the snow
The 'beast from the east' turned out to be a bit of a pussy in Peterborough. There was a light covering of snow when I got up, and a few heavy flurries in the morning, but by the time I went to Ferry Meadows it had settled to a steady, mesmerising drift of flakes which was quite pleasant to walk in.
By lunchtime the sun had came out, and the snow quickly disappeared from all south-facing spots, leaving just a few remnants in shady corners.
Having said that, the temperature's plummeting and it's snowing steadily again now, so I may have to be up and out early in the morning for more snow photography. What fun!
