Calm before the storm

So, we are about to experience the end of days; a Viking hell. The world will end in snow and ice rather than fire.

At least that is the view you would get from watching the news, which has been making a huge deal about two weeks of cold coming our way from Siberia: “The Beast from the East”.

Honestly, I really hope our relatives in Canada aren’t seeing this shown on their TV, so they can all have a good laugh at our hysteria. We’d never live it down.

However, it is supposed to get worse tomorrow, so maybe I’ll have changed my tune.
