A Hasty Departure

I finally forced myself to go out for a walk ( and felt better for having done so afterwards).
This is the view from the edge of the churchyard looking towards the local woods ..........I thought about heading out there but then thought better of it when this huge black cloud appeared........a good move as it turned out because just as I arrived back home the heavens opened with another flurry of snow. :-))

Still not a lot of snow on the ground but the thin layer is frozen solid..........fun and games in the morning, I guess :-/
