It was inevitable

The sign just went up.  A new 3 story building consisting of 8 “rowhouses” and 13 parking spaces will take the place of these old quaint cottage like homes right around the corner from our place.   I just wanted to document the before and after and there were no cars in front today for this uninspiring panorama on the iPhone (There is no curve in the street here.  you can see more in large...) .  this block has the best, funkiest decorations for all seasons and note the birdhouses on the parkway tree stumps.  It’s going the way of the neighborhood….. there are 5 charming houses across the street that won’t last either I’m sure.   Change.   Sigh……   Will have lots of opportunity to see and hear construction very nearby…
