One step too far !

Grey, drizzly day. Were the walking group deterred ? No we were not. We set off up Wadley Hill, down Cannington Lane and through Holcombe. Enthusiasm was high as we leapt running brooks and negotiated round muddy puddles. Well, three of us negotiated successfully, Fiona stepped confidently a la Dawn French on to a verge and sank quickly up to her knee in thick squelchy mud. We washed her off in the stream and continued on for another three miles ! She's a game girl !
