It's official

I've got the certificate and the sew-on badges to prove that I walked the Six Dales Walk with North Leeds District Scouts on 30 September. Sadly, no t-shirt.

The photo I took on the actual day didn't turn out but then it was horizontal rain the whole way. Despite that, it was a great day - and amazingly well organised, though the kit checkers were a bit scary.

Thank you to my friend Fiona in Leeds for graciously letting me invite myself along and for organising a trip to Betty's in Ilkley the day before so we could stock up on their famous Fat Rascals . She even ensured I'd had a pint of Landlord before I left Yorkshire.

And thank you to Blacksheep ESU - Slippers Team for "supporting" me on the walk.
