Cracked

After a brief jaunt this morning I decided being indoors was a much better plan so started on the long put-off job of repairing various bits of water damage - the one disadvantage of living in a top flat. Believe it or not, this is an 'after' picture because the painted paper started to crumble once it was pasted and what looked like a relatively simple job turned into a jigsaw puzzle. It'll hopefully not all fall off when I get going with the polyfilla tomorrow!

This evening it was on with the base layer, flannel shirt, jumper, fleece-lined trousers, fur-lined boots, scarf, gloves, hat, anorak .... then off to freeze in Tynecastle's Wheatfield Stand, pleasantly facing East and into the Beast. Though to be fair, the Beast is more of a pussy cat so far. Unfortunately the football didn't do anything to warm us with a late, missed penalty summing the whole thing up. Chilling.
