Beast from the east

Let’s just say I wasn’t too disappointed when the forecast predicted no clouds at sunrise. Man, is it cold! I know in other areas they will refer to -8 Celsius as mild, but we’re not used to these temperatures. This photo was taken in the afternoon, when I picked up the girls again who had been sleeping over at their grandparents. With a considerable wind (from the east, of course) the added chill factor made it feel like -15 degrees Celsius.

Martine was also home today; she’s having a flu. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon...
