White out!

Never in my life, no exaggeration required, have I experienced temperatures as bitterly cold as they are today. My phone told me it was -7 when I woke up and the car has read -5 both this morning and this evening. However, it sure feels a lot colder when that icy wind blows. Despite this, doesn't the winter wonderland look beautiful. Gorgeous scenes as I strolled this evening. 

School has remained open but every school in the surrounding area was shut...including the primary school half a mile up the road!!
