Alvor

Finally made it to Alvor in Portugal ......we were delayed at Liverpool Airport due to the low temperatures causing the water tanks to freeze so the plane couldn’t take off !!

Our hopes of a few weeks of winter sunshine may not materialise as we have arrived at the same time as Storm Emma.....so thunder, lightning and heavy rain showers are forecast for the foreseeable future.

Still, it’s 15 degrees which is a lot warmer than the -5 degrees we left at home :-)
