My day off

Today was a planned day off and I was delighted.
I didn't have to worry about going anywhere in the car which was just as well as the road has been white for most of the day.
The cats wouldn't go out all day so I had to fish the cat litter tray out of the shed - much to Sids relief!
Another bountiful day, putting stuff away, in the new wardrobe, changing over my bedside cabinet for a new one. Catching up with blips and comments. Making soup - carrot and coriander, my favourite. Finally clearing the paths of snow, that turned out to be fruitless as it snowed over very quickly again and again and again. I'm not looking forward to heading off for work in the morning.....
