Refuge

The River Mole was flowing very fast at Cobham. At this spot it had just tumbled over the fall at the mill so there were white horses rushing downstream. The swans and ducks didn't risk venturing out into the treacherous open river but stayed in this quiet backwater, out of harm's way.
