Blippers choice...

Worth reading to the end....


We woke to snow. A lot of snow. Excellent.

Except I had somewhere to be. Fortunately I also know how to drive in the snow and have winter tyres. I'd figured the 2miles from us to the motorway, on a bendy hilly road that no one else had been down would be the main challenge, but it was straightforward. The motorway was single lane but quite passable.
Then I reached Kendal and the snow had to most intents and purposes gone. So of course the traffic totally stopped. The 25 minutes to Ambleside took an hour longer than that. Fortunately the chap I was meeting was just impressed I arrived.

He then proceed to give me lots to think about, a straightforward piece of work has now potentially morphed into something far more complex. Befuddling for now.

I went for a wander round Grasmere to ponder, but the weather wasn't great, so I headed back to the Howgills now deeply blanketed in white and looking lovely. I popped back through the hole in the wall, the drifted snow above my knees. As I walked back the low light through the trees was glorious.

So I've ended up with three very different shots.
So I've decided to let the first Blipper to reply choose. Either the current main or it can be replaced with one of the two extras. You choose.
