The View from the House

I was outside at 7:30 this morning to plug in the car and warm up both the engine and the inside for our early drive to Sundsvall. It was -18°C and I   was wearing long johns, a dressing gown, down jacket and big boots,  Probably I should have blipped myself, seeing as I was so elegantly and suitably dressed.
There was a lot happening today but lunch with an ex-colleague was the highlight. Together with her family she moved to a village outside Sundsvall a couple of years ago. It took a while to find a house they liked but eventually they succeeded, and this was our first visit.  This is the view from their kitchen, down across the frozen lake. I was impressed!
