Iced up!

Bitterly cold weather and heavy snow have made for difficult driving conditions and disrupted plans.  Thankfully neither of us are back at work until the weekend by which time hopefully the roads at least will be better and the plans which have been changed can easily be rearranged. The village was very quiet this afternoon but there were lots of folks out walking and families with sledges heading for the field by the river.  When I spotted this photograph the conditions were perfect.  In the two minutes it took to change my lens, the wind picked up and the snow came down and it was a challenge to keep it in focus!
