Snow castle

You wouldn't know this boy had been ill. Full of beans today!

'The beast from the east' snowstorm has closed all schools in Edinburgh. We'd have been off today anyway as a precaution.  Only an inch of powdery snow until tea time though.

CyclopsJnr and MrsCyclops did some snow digging, went to Morrisons for supplies and lunch, and had a walk by the (frozen!) duckpond. In the afternoon we attempted to make coloured cupcakes. They tasted good but only the red colour took. More experimentation required. 

Then more snow digging with cyclops before bed.
