We went to town to say thanks to Mary Lou for many years of fun interactions at Old Salty.  She's been the manager of the shop and is retiring, and today was her last day.  We'll still see her around town and G will see her on the golf course, but we did want to show our appreciation of her hard work.  We always enjoy looking through the card selection and all the other things that Mary Lou has brought into the shop.  It's a go-to place when the girls visit.  They like the soap, bath bombs, shampoo and conditioner and creams as well as all the choices for possible gifts.
Mary Lou's a character and will be missed for sure.  Karen, the woman who's taking over as manager, is also a lot of fun, so loyal customers will still enjoy shopping there or just dropping in for some good-natured abuse.
