NO SNOW DAY

Most of the schools local to ours were closed or closed early but our head is determined we remain be open.
Most of my pupils are bussed in. As they were cancelled my small class of 11 was reduced to 3....then a late comer...then the head went to local pupils and knocked on their doors. That really shocked them!!!. So my class of 5 with 3 adults was soooo lovely.
At playtime we all went to the local field and it was a free for all snowball fight. Great fun...so many school set “no play in the snow rules”
Parents evening was cut short...but mine all cancelled so I had a good tidy up and then left by 5:30.
Home.... and sat by the fire...catching up with TV.

Thankful for ... a day to really teach with individual focus.
