The beast from the east

The view from my office window today, South Manchester didn’t get the worst of the weather but it got frequent flurrys and it was below freezing all day, especially in the wind. Stockport, where I live was much worse and the last mile of my journey home took nearly an hour! Even the main road was covered in snow despite having bumper to bumper traffic. I don’t really like driving in the snow having had a bump a few years ago, but I don’t have the luxury of opting to stay at home so it has to be done, slowly and steadily!
