Snow day.

So the "beast from the east" was due to hit Edinburgh today.

We had a bit of snow at the house, but decided to try to get the boys to nursery at Ratho as usual.

As is typical with this sort of weather, the first and last 100 yards of any journey is treacherous, with the main roads in the middle absolutely fine.

So having failed to make It up the slope to the nursery, I received a text to say that they'd rather folk found alternative childcare if possible.

Hence it's been a snow and telly day...
