100th Wild Wednesday

I was hoping for an eagle to celebrate the occasion but they were hiding so I found this beautiful Mallard instead.  I also found a very interesting goose among the Canada Geese ice skating on the pond.  S/he is in the extra.  I'm guessing it's a hybrid with a domestic goose or maybe a Snow Goose.  She was just part of the group and none of them seemed to notice any difference.  Many thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays for the last 100 weeks!!

I am grateful for the nice conversation I had with my friend, Patty, today!  Even though we're 1000 miles apart, our friendship endures...but I sure miss her!
