Atop Cannon Mountain

Another day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. After a 3-mile morning hike near Mt. Cardigan, we headed north, stopping at Cannon Mountain and taking the aerial tramway to the top. Despite the heavy looking clouds, it didn't rain today.

For fans of the weird and unexplained, this is right around where Betty and Barney Hill were allegedly captured by aliens. Clearly such a thing could only have happened back in a time when the place wasn't crawling with tourists.
