fragility is wonderful

There it was, a small indication of better weather breaking through. A beautiful clump of snowdrops - appropriate given the blanket lying in my back garden!
Nature should continue to challenge us, in its attention to small details. We walk around with our eyes fixed on our phones, often only seeing the world through lens instead of in the raw!
Ironically I have chosen to represent nature by the use of a lens! A Nikon D7100 with 70mm extension at f8.... so as not to blur all the background as it is as important to show the context as the flower.
I hope that this snapshot of nature captured at a moment in time reminds us that we are inbetween.... the winter and the spring. There is better to come from nature, more to cheer us and reward us for our investment in the search for beauty.
