Boat and train and never the twain . . .

. . . shall meet!

After a little shopping this morning we drove up to Pulpit Hill to see what was happening in the world. The 'Isle of Mull' was coming in from Craignure and the Glasgow-bound train was sitting in the station.

The ferry should have been in at 11.46 but was obviously delayed, not reaching the position in my Blip until 12.12. The train was due to leave at 12.11 and can be seen leaving the platform.

Now I'm certain that the skipper put out a message over the tannoy earlier on, asking if any passengers who were wanting to catch the Glasgow train would let him know, as the next train would be at 1441. I'm sure he did. Well at least I hope he did!
