Autumn colours

I've only been away from England for four days but I've noticed that the trees have become deeper in their autumn colours - and so many of the leaves are now on the ground.

I wish I could capture the glory of these autumn colours properly but in the total absence of sun, it's only a pale imitation of the richness of the russets and browns. Maybe we will have some brighter weather soon and I can practise.
