I opened the bathroom window this morning ...

... that’s the snowdrift in the foreground. Beyond it the river and the field have succumbed to the weather. There’s ice floating down the river and I’ve not seen that since the winter of 2010. It’s properly beastly out there. There was no question of my getting up to Dundee this morning for the third day of my three day work stint. The train and bus services are all off and I wouldn’t have got the car out of our road even if I’d wanted to. The day’s work will be rescheduled. My planned night out in Perth is on hold. There’s a question mark over yoga. I’m going to make a cup of tea and watch this week’s episode of Shetland.
