Feed me please!

I have also backblipped yesterday's Chilled! ....... do hope you will have a look :-)

We've had lots of feathered visitors today ...... making the most of the food we've been putting out! As well as the Collared Doves, Sparrows & Starlings ....... a pair of Blackbirds have been backwards & forwards ....... the Robin has been here a lot ...... we also had a few visits from the Pied Wagtail ....... who wanted a photo of his bum posting ..... well he must have as that was all he'd show me!

The conditions are even worse today ....... we have a very strong easterly wind blowing ........ a wind chill factor of -10c! Also more snow flurries.

The strong wind is blowing the snow around ...... it has blown the snow off the fields onto the roads ...... including main A roads ...... this has formed drifts of about 6ft (2metres) which has blocked all the main trunk roads in & around Boston ..... so we are virtually cut off! Some motorists were even stuck overnight! A large part of the town roads are treacherous ...... though our side of town is not too bad thankfully.

The buses are not running again today ...... Hubby is pleased as he gets an extra day off & gets paid for this one!!

Another bus company cannot even get to their buses as they are covered by a snowdrift!

We had a call from the Care Line this morning .... Mum had contacted them as somebody tried to get in through her French Windows last night ..... we managed to get round to see her & she is doing okay. The Care Line has contacted the police for her & they will send somebody 'when they can'.


Sorry I cannot catch up with you all today ...... with going to Mum's I have run out of time ....... hopefully I will catch up with you tomorrow!
