Oasis

Went to the gym and then went for a walk around our local nature reserve just for the hell of it and didn’t see another soul in the blizzard. It was really too cold to sustain life and I quickly realised why I was the only one out there. The warm glow of the Waitrose cafe was too tempting to pass and warmed up over a lovely veggie breakie and steaming tea. The fact I felt like an intrepid explorer added to the enjoyment factor.
