Proper snow
This bit lasted the full 200 miles home, including an extra 45 miles circumnavigation of the closed road full of stranded cars and Jack knifed lorries. That was the road I didn’t want to drive along yesterday in the snow storm - the right decision I think. Nonetheless a really quite stressful drive until the m25 and then it was all just fine. Felt a bit daft driving a snow and icicle clad car through completely normal roads though.
Then an afternoon of work, nipping out of meetings to say hello to Daisy and Will when they came home. Will was Max from Where the Wild Things Are in his fluffy onesie and whiskers. I think he forgot though to tell anyone at school though, he hasn’t been very forthcoming with the details. He seemed happy enough though and has got into his no 1 high school choice which can only help boy happiness.
Then pizza in front of masterchef catch up. Daisy has established the Actual revision timetable and is all heads down.
