Edinburgh University Sledging Club's inaugural training session in full swing.
Members agreed that perhaps it might be an idea to buy some actual sledges instead of using plastic bags, large pieces of cardboard, and in one case, an ironing board.

Lots of snow yesterday and overnight.  Took Jaffa on the long walk through The Hermitage and up Blackford Hill.  Timed it wrong, and just after I reached the summit a huge squall blew in and the temperature dropped rapidly.  It was pretty unpleasant for a while.

The kids went sledging.  But not on Blackford Hill.  Too much like hard work...
