Fieldfare

Loan fieldfare sheltering in our garden from the wind.

A bit late in the day again trying for a blip photo, so I wiped Biskit’s nose marks off the inside of the living room window and settled down with the Tamron 150-600, hand held, leaning on the dining table, hoping for something worth blipping.  This loan fieldfare won first prize.  There are a few more on Flickr.

This morning was taken up with the daughter’s heating broken down and urgent shopping for us and our elderly neighbours.  I think the only bit of the A15 left properly open was between us and Bourne, and even on that stretch the snow was drifting through field gateways across the road.

We had an extraordinary meeting of the FNDG last night (snapshot at 'extra').  The meeting was originally called in January to discuss a members burpday, but was postponed due to mass and multiple  illnesses.  Last night was urgent meeting called to use up all the food and liquid stuff that had been bought for the occasion.   I think my headache has gone now . . .
