Day 295

Shoes. I love them. They're always guaranteed to cheer me up.

I got this pair the other day. They weren't expensive, but they're so pretty, and so comfy.

They make me think of Dorothy's ruby slippers in the Wizard if Oz (although obviously these are black, not red, so we'll called them onyx slippers). I want to tap them together and be transported somewhere else (preferably somewhere warm and sunny).

First day of half term today and so far so good. Only one day of work this week (yippeeee!), and the rest of the week I'm off with H. We have lots of nice things planned. Fingers crossed I'm not tearing my hair out by Wednesday...!
