Wintery Walk

I awoke to snow - not anticipated according to the forecast. After feeding the birds I went for a walk along the lane which leads to my allotment. I popped in to see how it was looking - I've not seen it under snow before. It is hard to believe I was there digging less than a week ago. We've had a few more inches of (very dry) snow since then and are forecast heavy snow over night. I am hoping doesn't it materialise as Andy needs to visit his mum who is still in hospital awaiting a care package to be arranged before she can return home. Hope you are all keeping safe and warm.
