Skogafoss

Iceland has ice. Iceland also has water. And waterfalls. Many waterfalls. This was the second one we visited on the fist day of our trip. It is hard to believe, from seeing how calm people appear in this photo, that a few minutes later we were scrambling to protect ourselves, and our cameras, from rain. I felt the first few drops and thought that the wind had changed and was blowing some spray from the waterfall on to me. Then I realised it was raining. I think this was the first time I remarked on how quickly the weather could change. It definitely was not the last.
