And so it begins....

It's going to be a mad week of baking, cooking and partying!
It all starts with our wee village Halloween Parties for all the local children on Friday night. It is such a hoot! We completely dress the village hall for Halloween, all the adults and children come in fancy dress with their carved pumpkins, spooky games are played and "gruesome" food and cakes are consumed. Great fun. Then on Saturday morning we are taking advantage of the theme and having a Halloween Coffee Morning in the still decorated hall. It's in aid of funds for the local primary school and although both my boys have now moved on to High School I still seem to be on the PTA! Saturday night sees a Fancy Dress Party for the adults at a friends house so two costumes required!
Much cooking and baking required this week then so you can guess the make-up of this week's blips. Trying to be super organised this week so have made Apple and Cranberry Chutney for the baking stall on Saturday; it's a start! It may surprise you to learn that I am always in charge of the baking stall; can't imagine why!
