We have come a long way

7 or was it 8 years ago, when we had our last uber snow 'event' I was driving to work very cagily through the Glenlockhart road which goes up a hill through the middle of a golf course. You know in films when someone starts going down a road and you instinctively think wrong move, really this is the wrong move, well I could see a bus stuck at the top of the hill in the distance and I thought you could turn around now or spend the rest of the day with these potential cannibals.

Another day in the home office, pondering sorties for food, making meals for grateful neighbours and working dilligently on my after dinner speechs.

Ok so perl scripts don't like regex dates and for some reason the musical choice of the day based upon a daughter's friends playlist was again, Joy Division. Better than Bagarre however.
