Sunrise at camping De Banjer

The Beast from the East is still with us. Compared to the UK, it didn't bring that much snow to our neck of the woods, but with a temperature of -9 degrees Celsius (-20 if you take the chill factor into account) it was still quite an undertaking to capture the sunrise without freezing. Dressed in layers (lots of them), with two pairs of gloves on, it was difficult to operate the camera but I managed to get a decent shot I'd say. I've uploaded an extra shot as well; I found it hard to decide...

It's my Blip birthday today; yay! I haven't missed a single day since I my return to Blipfoto on July 23th 2016 and I plan to stay around for a while. Thanks everyone who has stopped by in the past year, leaving stars, hearts and comments even though I hardly ever return the favour.

Tonight, Ton, Herman and I will celebrate by going out for dinner. To be honest: the dinner was planned before I knew it would be my Blip birthday. We're preparing for our trip to Glencoe next month. Or is that just an excuse to get together and enjoy some good food?
