Cold as ice

It's really cold out there, I'm thinking of all in the UK , snowed in and frozen. Over here in The Netherlands while it's been below zero all week there is practically no snow, at least not over here in the South-West. For AYWMC graduates we're freezing flowers this month, and it's not quite as easy as it would sound. This tulip has been frozen in the filtered condense water of our dryer in a plastic container, but it's most definitely not clear ice and the ice has cracked, I'm guessing while freezing. I've put it on the garden table outside and have photographed it through the window, it's that cold ! Uncropped original in the extra.
